Unlike Pokémon, Digimon doesn't really release their monsters in "generations". They usually just release one or two of them whenever they feel like it.

I remember that episode. Though in this case I was invoking South Park Starvin' Marvin. Where they dealt with mutant turkeys. Only instead of them simply killing the townspeople, this one decides to eat them.
