I think you are the first one to pick up on that sleeve easter egg, also that it's based on albert (the chin gives it away). I obsessively researched the canon and had a lot of small details like this planned that only uber fallout fans would even pick up on. even the fact that his gun doesn't work is a shout out to the fact guns just don't work if you didn't have any points in that skill (being fresh from the vault he has no clue how to use a gun... spoiler, the safety is on lol)
