@CIEIRMusic @ethanblair I know. Lol just kidding. Anywho I was about 14 when I first saw it and when I understood the story, it got me thinking. "Wait, this is an awful lot like Jumanji." I looked it up thinking it'd be some knock off. Until I saw the author's name. Now most people don't know it, but Jumanji started out as a kids book, it wasn't as groundbreaking or scary like the movie was, but it was received well enough that people were interested in seeing a movie based on it. The author of both books, is named Chris Van Allsburg. He also wrote Polar Express.
